Manchester United 4-3 Hull City
Manchester United handed Hull their first away defeat, however the score line did not reflect the dominance that Manchester United had for the majority of the game.
“We should have won by 10 goals, but ended up scrambling,’ Sir Alex Ferguson said. ‘They only had two chances in the match and scored three goals. We had 10 or 11 clear chances and frittered them away. We were almost left embarrassed.”
Nani caused trouble down the right flank in the first half but was substituted by Tevez in the (64′).
Manchester United’s next match is against Celtic in the Champions League on Wed 05th November.
