It has been reported that Nani has bought a house next to his manager, Sir Alex Ferguson. The home is estimated to have cost £3million and is on the same street as his gaffer in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
The five-bedroom mansion, has a swimming pool and spa facilities, is also just two doors away from his Manchester United team-mate Louis Saha, 29.
The three-storey home is also believed to be fitted with security cameras and a remote-controlled gate along with a state-of-the-art soundproof games and media room in the basement. It also has a fully-equipped gym and a walk-in wine cellar as well as a triple garage to house his luxury cars.

Nani came on as a substitute for Gomes in the 67th minute and crossed a great ball to Helder Postiga to create a second half goal. Nani looked menacing in attack, however Germany hung on in the end and won the quarter final clash 3-2.
Nani wanted to give more back to the fans and was disappointed that Portugal did not advance. After the game he said “We know that the fans were supporting us and we wanted at least one more game. We know football is just like this.”
Nani felt that he could have contributed more to Portugals bid to win Euro 2008.
“I wanted to play more and I worked hard for that, but I am not the one that decides. The team were playing well, so I understand the decision,” he said.

Nani was in the starting lineup today against Switzerland. Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari rested eight players including Cristiano Ronaldo as Portugal was already through to the quarter-finals as Group A winner.
The Swiss ended the tournament on a high note after suffering defeat in their first two matches.
Nani looked sharp and made several good attacking inroads into the Swiss defense and was unlucky on a couple of occasions not to score after creating a couple of good chances. Nani appreciated the opportunity to start and will be looking forward to playing a greater role in Portugal’s bid to win Euro 2008.
The team will play either co-host Austria, Germany or Poland in the quarterfinals on Thursday.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored one goal and set up another to help Portugal to a 3-1 win over the Czech Republic at Euro 2008 today.
Ronaldo’s 63rd-minute goal, which was his first for the national team since October 2007, put his team 2-1 up before substitute Ricardo Quaresma added a tap in goal in injury time.
Portugal has now moved to six points which places them in a good position to reach the quarter-finals.
Nani was a sub, however was not used by Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.
It was Portugal’s fourth win in 10 matches against the Czechs, with three losses and three draws.
Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari was satisfied with his team’s performance.
“I am pleased with the commitment and dedication the team showed,” said the Brazilian.
Portugal now go onto play Switzerland on Sunday 15 June at Basel - St. Jakob-Park.

Portugal 2-0 Winners

Portugal jumped to the top of Group A at Euro 2008 today after beating Turkey 2-0 in a thrilling and deserved win.
Pepe opened the scoring after 61 minutes, coming from defence to beat Turkey keeper Volkan Demirel.
Portugal deserved their win, with Cristiano Ronaldo hitting the post and Gomes also hitting the woodwork twice after the break.
A mentioned, Portugal deserved its victory, however Turkey on the other hand seemed hell bent on inflicting as much pain on the Portuguese as possible. There were a number of bookings and in my opinion Aurelio should have been sent off for his vicious tackle on Nani. The tackle left a gash on Nani’s leg and it could have easily resulted in a lot worse injury.
Raul Meireles scored the second goal in injury time and now Portugal face the Czech Republic, 1-0 winners over Switzerland earlier, on Wednesday with Turkey up against co-hosts the Swiss on the same day.

Portugal is about to play their opening game in Euro 2008 against Turkey in Geneva and Nani feels it will be like almost playing at home as Geneva has many Portuguese immigrants and they will offer tremendous support.
Portugal is in Group A and Nani believes this group is very competitive. Nani goes onto say:
“Switzerland are dangerous because they play at home and Turkey and the Czech Republic because they have a high level in Europe. Getting through the group phase is our first objective and it will be tough.
“But we have a strong group of players. Portuguese football has evolved so much in the past few years. You can see many of our players are playing across Europe and being competitive in big leagues in England, Italy and Spain.
Nani is enjoying his time playing in England and says “It’s a great experience playing in England because the atmosphere at the matches is fantastic and the fans will always applaud and encourage you. You can learn a lot.”
